About the Author:
Amber Harris is the mostly together, but sometimes scatterbrained, author of the award winning Wisteria Jane Hummell series, including, Wisteria Jane, and Bingo Did It! Just like Wisteria Jane, Amber's life is one of chaos and giggles, in equal proportion. Amber and her husband of 17 years are parents to three amazing kids, and two crazy dogs.
Amber’s greatest achievements include bringing three children into this world, sky diving in New Zealand, bungee jumping off the Pipeline Bridge, and completing her undergraduate degree in Speech and Hearing Science from the University of Arizona and her graduate degree in education, with an emphasis on Autism, at Arizona State University. Amber’s desire to write values based learning books began while she was completing her M.Ed. She saw a need for “character builder” books that could be used at home and at school. She is also an emerging parenting expert. She has spoken about home schooling and parenting children with autism. Most recently, Amber has teamed up with her close friend, Melissa Moore, media expert, bestselling author, and host of the A&E series Monster in my Family, to write a chapter in Moore’s upcoming book about overcoming adversity.
