What to have - Paper - Glue - Paintbrush - Sand - Shells - Sea life pictures
What to do Summer at the sandy beach is the theme for this art project. Give each child a piece of paper. Have them spread glue around the paper with a paintbrush. Let them sprinkle sand over the glue. Encourage children to feel the sand on their hands and fingers before putting it on the picture. Children can also add seashells or pictures of sea life or sand creatures, such as crabs and turtles, to add to their artwork.
Why Children are feeling sand in their fingers and experiencing the sensory input. They are learning about different environments.
