About the Author:
Luz Maria Casio is a mother of three bilingual and bicultural children. Ms. Casio holds a BA and MA Degree in Education with a focus on Dual Language ECE, Educational Leadership and organizational change from Goddard College, and recently finish her doctoral program at the Christian University of New Jersey, earning a PhD. in Cristian Counseling. She has personally administered significant aid in helping organizations successfully manage and support change through strategic planning and tactical direction.
She is known for the successful practices implementation for effectively driving organizational change. She brings an unparalleled of passion, energy, and dedication to serving others as an inspired advocate for children, promoting long-term adoption and cultural integration through leadership alignment and intricate change strategies. As a bilingual, bicultural educator, Luz Casio has championed critical pedagogy and equity in education at the local and state level.
Currently she divides her time between directing Refugee and Immigrant Family Center Bilingual Preschool (RIFC), consulting, training, adult instruction as adjunct Faculty at Highline College and as active member of her local church.
