About the Author:
Sharon Woodward is the founder of Woodward Consulting. She has owned and operated a large child
care facility, worked as a family child care licensing specialist for twenty years, and has provided
consultation, advocacy, and training to early child care providers throughout the United States. Most
recently Sharon has provided a series of workshops focused on the sustainability of family child care.
