This was a sweet story for little ones who suffer from separation anxiety. The story is very soothing and comforting and the illustrations are big and bright, making it an enchanting read to share with your preschooler.

I recommended that we get copies of this book and the five others by Mike Huber. They are all based on the everyday experiences of preschool-aged children at their daycare. They serve two audiences—one, the kids themselves. They are picture books with engaging illustrations and appropriate for ages 3 and up. But they also serve as great examples for early childhood educators. Mike Huber is a master teacher and provides trainings nationally for other early childhood educators. I recently passed these books on to a new early childhood educator and she loved them! She shared them with her own children, who really responded to the illustrations and the stories.
